Beta Terms of Service

Who may use the beta

You must be 18 or older and legally able to enter this agreement. GatherWave is an entertainment service for adult groups and workplace events. Do not invite children or use it for school classes involving minors. If you accept on behalf of an organization, you must have authority to do so; hosting does not give you authority to consent to processing for every participant.

Free beta and future subscriptions

The current beta is free and requires no payment details. Features may change, fail or be discontinued; availability and preservation of results are not guaranteed. Do not use game results for employment, educational or other consequential decisions. Any future paid subscription requires a separate checkout with its price, renewal and cancellation terms and your affirmative agreement. Joining this beta does not authorize future charges.

Respectful and lawful play

Do not submit unlawful, threatening, hateful, sexually exploitative, harassing or infringing material. Do not share sensitive personal information, trade secrets or confidential workplace information. Do not impersonate others, exploit vulnerabilities, evade access controls, disrupt rooms or collect other players’ information without authorization. Fictional answers within Bluff & Find are part of the game and do not permit harmful impersonation.

Your submissions and our materials

You retain ownership of your submissions. You give the operator a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free permission to host, process and display them only as needed to operate the game, provide requested support and address safety or legal obligations, for the applicable retention period. Submit only material you have permission to use. This permission does not authorize unrelated advertising use.

The application and supplied materials remain owned by their respective owners. You may use the service for its intended gameplay. Third-party components remain subject to their own licenses; see third-party notices. Factual game content can contain errors; report corrections through our contact page.

Safety, access and ending use

Share room codes only with intended participants. Content is not reviewed before it appears. Report abuse through Contact; hosts can close and erase a room. We may restrict or suspend access for misuse, security, legal requirements or beta closure. You may stop using the service at any time and request deletion as described in the Privacy Notice.

Responsibility and legal rights

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the beta is provided as available, without promises that it is uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or limits consumer, privacy or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or other conduct for which exclusion is prohibited.

These terms are governed by Pennsylvania law to the extent permitted, without removing mandatory protections of your place of residence. No mandatory arbitration or class-action waiver is imposed by these terms. Contact us to try to resolve a concern; this does not prevent you from exercising legal rights.

Changes and contact

We will identify revised terms with a new version and give appropriate notice of material changes. New room creation or joining requires the current version. Privacy choices are separate from agreement to these terms. Questions: gatherwavesupport@gmail.com.
